I am newly obsessed with everything Mermaid Straw! Beautiful colors, 100% keeps ice cold and solid for extremely long periods of time, easy to hold, fits in cup holders easily, no spills and easy to clean. Only complaint would be that it is chipping color off just around the top rim where the lid screws in (I haven't seen any flakes of color or anything falling off, just noticed I can see some of the under color more now then when I first bought it).

These items feel great. They have some weight to them, and even the straws feel heavier than other types I’ve purchased online. My only concern is, one of the multiple cups I purchased was incredibly difficult to get the lid off of. I almost though I was going to have the ask for a replacement. We ended up getting it off, and can now use it. Also all of the cups purchased smelled BADLY of paint thinner, or maybe acetone? It was a very smelly odor. I assume we will be able to get rid of that with cleaning
Hi Alex, That is certainly strange! We have not heard of a chemically smell coming from our cups! If you could email us with more details about this, we would greatly appreciate it! As for the lid, our cups are double-wall vacuum insulated, which can sometimes make the lid a bit harder to get off. Almost always, some warm water on the seal, or using something with a stronger grip such as a rubber band, will do the trick! We are glad you are happy with the quality of it!
It would be nice to have a 8mm curve straw in the future. Got this blue cup for my niece because she was using my black one. She was so happy. She says it kept her smoothie cold all day at work.
